The InspectRx® system is used to calculate the weight of 100% of Banner’s Gel products in North Carolina by measuring the micro-dimensions in 3D. The 3D dimensions enable the InspecRx® system to calculate the volume, and then multiplying by the specific gravity to accurately obtain the weight of each gel mathematically.

The InspectRx® system is better suited to inspect all the product prior and during the packaging at the FilleRx® system.
The proprietary InspectRx® system is a highly advanced vision system used mainly in the pharmaceutical, medical, food, chemical, and cosmetic industries. It captures images at a very high speed, digitizes them, analyzes them according to proprietary routines, and then renders a decision regarding the acceptability of the product before the product departs the field of view. The tolerance determining the level of acceptable product is set by the operator, supervisor, or administrator. The analyzed product data leading to an accept or reject decision is classified, and stored in a specific category reflecting the reasons for its rejection or acceptance. The product may be in the form of capsules, tablets, gel, or caplets, as in previous cases developed for Pfizer’s Celebrex™ and Johnson and Johnson’s Tylenol.
The InspectRx® System is Fully Integrated with Lakso 990 – Analyzing and Counting the Celebrex™ of Pfizer Inc.
The InspectRx® system is adaptable and can achieve a rate of 100% inspection, counting any shape, configuration, color, and size of pharmaceutical, medical, and cosmetic products. The InspectRx® system is capable of inspecting tablets, capsules, caplets, and gels and then packaging them at a nominal of speed of 705 bottles per minute with 100 counts each.
The tube is presented to the InspectRx® system. The system transforms the rotating surface into a flat view to identify flaws and decode the barcode.
The InspectRx® system transforms the rotating surface into a flat view to identify flaws and decode the barcode. It reads every alpha-numeric character and ensures presence, and proper placements and orientation
The InspectRx® system transforms the rotating surface into a flat view for any product size.
Many other applications were initiated for Johnson & Johnson products in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical and cosmetics.
