The InspectRx® Vision System can analyze several objects simultaneously to identify a microscopic deviation of dimensions or colors, at a rate of 1960 units/second.
The InspectRx® vision system checks the presence of lot number, expiration date, and performs bar code verification of prodct data. It simultaneously inspects the correct orientation of cap, cap hinge, and the correct placement of the label on each container at a rate of 6 units per second. prior to placement of the cap on bottle the InspectRx® vision system verifies the correct cap and hinge orientation. The caps are delivered by two parallel independent belts running at an opposite and constant speed in a single file to the InspectRx® vision system. If the angle of the cap and its hinge is deviated from a nominal location shifter, the InspectRx® vision system reorient the cap by slowing down one belt until the cap is sully oriented, and then resume the same belt speed to deliver the cap properly oriented to the final placement on a designated bottle.
The InspectRx® system is being used to verify the orientation of cap-hinges during the packaging assembly operation. If a cap-hinge is not oriented properly, the InspectRx® control system sends a signal to a corrective servo mechanism to accurately re-orient it.
The InspectRx® system is utilizing a highly sophisticated algorithms developed specifically to indentify many types of hinges for precise placement on various bottles.
